PASSENGERS ARE THE 'GODS' TO THE ROAD TRANSPORT ORGANISATION


Generally,when the Buses are running with skin tight, Then the RTC should not get any losses.  

YES,  PASSENGERS ONLY THE 'GODS' TO THE ROAD TRANSPORT ORGANISATION.

TO RUN THE 'RTC' EFFICIENTLY  AND PROFITABLY,  THE  'RTC'  MUST  CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING STEPS IMMEDIATELY AND CONTINUOUSLY:

First step:

The intention  should be clear to run the Organisation smoothly and  Profitably.

Second step:

Must appoint well qualified ,experienced and ethically capable person(s) in  'Chairman' and in other  key posts.

So that they can concentrate on every aspect  of organisation. viz.,Buying , Selling of products, spare parts, recruitment, maintenance and running the organisation , properly.

Third step:

To control the  passengers rush  at bus stops in major cities, it is more essential to increase further the short route shuttles. So that most of the passengers will be distributed to different places without any traffic problems. Besides to that  long route buses also should be continued for every 20 Mt's. then , there will not be any huge rush in the buses and passengers will travel safely.

Fourth step:

Just counsel the drivers and conductors to maintain good relationship with the passengers. And give free hand to the controllers and drivers and conductors to run the buses at the convenience of the passengers. Stopping of buses at bus stops,  running of the buses at nearest to the bu Bayes , maintenance of gap from bus to bus, maintain co ordination  among all types of drivers etc., So give free hand to drivers to maintain some gap from one bus to another bus,where ever possible. Arrange more buses in the morning and evening times . Seasonally , give more concessions to attract more passengers.Then rush will increase in the  buses and profits will increase  to the organisation. 

Fifth step:

Concentrate on competitors.  competitors are  other sector  buses, SETWIN Buses, Autos, Cabs etc. If  the organisation able  to provide more facilities to the passengers , Passengers can not try for  Autos,Setwin buses and Cabs.If we observe closely, SETWIN buses always  run with heavy rush. But we can not find that much rush in the buses or in the mini buses all the times. Because ,SETWIN bus people  will wait at every bus stop and call the passengers and guide them where they have to get down and they stop where ever passenger show the hand. Because ,their intention is to increase the occupancy and to  earn more profits.  Passengers are the Gods to the any transport organisation. So take suggestion and ideas from the passengers and implement  at appropriate time and then watch the result. Issue the quarterly ,half yearly and yearly bus passes on passengers request. After verification only ,students are submitting the bus pass applications along with evidences. So the  organisation arrange to issue the students Bus passes with in minutes only. Encourage the passengers for the valuable ideas with free gifts and cash awards.

Sixth step:

Concentrate to utilise the  fixed assets, Buildings and variable assets to earn additional income.

If the any transport organisation takes the above steps at appropriate time, again it will turn into profits with in a short period.

Seventh step:

Try to implement new schemes time to time and fix up the Bus fares etc., Diesel prices and passengers acceptance.

Take the ideas of experienced RTC employees and current generation.

Give freedom to the drivers to run the buses according to passengers needs.For instance X number bus started from one place. from the same place another same X number should not start from the same place at same time. At present about 4 to 5 buses of X  number are starting from same place with nil are few passengers at the same time. Hence, either controller or Driver should have the freedom to overcome this type of problems.

Issue General bus passes quarterly, half yearly and yearly also.Stop all the duplicate Bus passes with close control and with the help of the honest passengers.

Issue the student bus passes after verification of documents, across the counter.

Increase the bus pass counters.

Reduce the A/C bus charges as up to 5 stages Rs.10, up to 10 stages Rs.15 and above 10 stages Rs.20 to increase the AC Buses occupancy.

Make sure to run the Buses nearest to the METRO and other RAILWAY stations at the convenient of Passengers.

The main motto should be, the A/C buses should run with full passengers.
